In-House Laboratory
Our in-house dental laboratory ensures the highest quality of dental restorations and prosthodontic care. Most dental practices utilize commercial dental laboratories which leave a large amount of the decision making in the hands of the laboratory technician without the restoring dentist’s input. With the in-house laboratory there is a direct communication between Dr. Gordner and the dental laboratory. In fact, Dr. Gordner dedicates over 30% of his time overseeing and working directly in the laboratory with the technicians . He also does many of the laboratory procedures himself. Even with two highly skilled technicians, it is this direct communication and evaluation that lead to the highest quality restoration. The comprehensive nature of a prosthodontic specialty practice necessitates the direct involvement between the laboratory technician and the prosthodontist.
With direct patient contact, the laboratory technician is better equipped to deal with esthetic nuances and functional challenges. If needed, patients also benefit from quick and efficient modifications, thus avoiding additional office visits. Furthermore, emergency repairs can usually be done rapidly while the patient waits. We guarantee the highest quality restoration through the use of the newest dental technologies, continuing advanced education, a commitment to use only the highest quality materials, and the attention to detail and precision results in the highest quality restoration.
Dr. Gordner is extremely proud to have two skilled laboratory technicians within the laboratory.
